Sumo Gamer Gigantic Bean Bag Review - Rerez

A company called Sumo sent me something pretty special to try out. This is the Gamer, a bean bag chair for people who play video games. Let's take a look at this.

When I first unpacked it from its massive box and managed to get the massive slip cover on it my first impressions were good! I was expecting this to be just a bag of a bunch of beans that really didn't have any shape or form. But with this it actually feels good like I've got back support which I wasn't expecting. I don't know how but the beans actually kind of support you in a way that just gives you some really tight back support. It shouldn't work but it does. The Sumo Gamer is a bean bag that's covered in a microsuede cover that's removable and washable. Although what we did when we were testing it out was just wipe it with a damp cloth and it seemed to work out fine.

But this is made for gamers so there's only one real way to test this out. I sat down and played a bunch of video games using this bean bag and I have to say it worked pretty well. Now obviously this thing isn't going to offer the same rigid back support that a couch or a chair would offer but it's still pretty supportive despite it being a bag filled with kind of fluffy beans. This thing works out really well and if you put it up against a wall it offers even better back support just because of the way the beans crunch up behind you. So this is a really neat product but in terms of gaming well it doesn't do anything better than a couch or a chair. Although it is probably a little bit more comfortable than both. Still this is a really neat product, a really good design, it's probably something that's better suited for somebody that doesn't have a lot of space in their room. It really fits well in a smaller space because even a small couch takes up a lot more space than this does. If you're looking for something that's going to enhance your gaming this probably isn't going to do anything additional. But if you don't have a lot of space in a room and you want to play games and be super comfy well this is the way to go.
