Atari 7800 Review and 5 Fun Games!

in gaming •  7 years ago

The Atari 7800 is a console I had never played, as the first console I owned was an NES. Over 30 years after the initial release of the system, I thought it would be fun to look at the platform as a noob with no experience in it.

In my research, I got some games that I thought were really fun to play as well. Any Steemit members have fond memories of the 7800? Let me know in the comments!

I almost bought an Atari 7800 instead of a Master System. I only had money for one or the other and the 7800 was in stores but the Master System hadn't been restocked yet. It was a true test of patience that I'm glad I didn't succumb to.

Made the right choice for sure though. Master System was another platform I didn't play til I was older (except once at my Dad's brothers house who was half his age, so like his mom had mad government money and bought him whatever. Douche). Awesome platform though, and has my favorite version of Double Dragon.

the old atari, I remember hearing my old men talking about this console that was characterized as the only one that brought a joystick.

Excellent post brother @rgt-85

The 2600 was tough for me to enjoy because of the primitive graphics, but the 7800 is actually pretty fun. Similar to the NES but just not as well utilized or recieved.
