Today in e-sports news, specifically in the CS:GO realm. The Shanghai 2018 is under way. 8 teams battle it out for for a reward pool total of 250,000 dollars. Divided up accordingly.
This event is sponsored by Intel hence IEM (intel extreme master) the winner will take home that title and a big chunk of change. Most the teams are asian but we have 1 NA team attending and it seems like they are on the top of the leaderboard for their group.
First match was BOOT-d[S] vs TyLoo with TyLoo being the winner, these matches are best out of 3 and unfortuanatly Boot-d[S] is out of the race. These teams had a first match on the iconic Dust 2 map with of course TyLoo on to. Second match was on one of my personal favorite maps, Mirage with another win from Tyloo, kicking Boo-d[s] out of the competition.
Here are the line-ups of the 2 teams.
The next battle was between NRG and HellRaisers, this was a close battle for they went all 3 matches with HellRaisers for the first win,and NRG for the finial 2 match wins. The 3 maps played was Mirage, Overpass and train. Some very well known maps amoung cs:go players.
There are still matches to be played and more news on this coming your way. Will be posting the winners and final matches tomorrow. I hope you enjoyed todays CS:GO news!!
