Pokemon Go generation 3 - first week

I've been catching while working, taking the baby on walks, and getting ready to restart school. So let's talk Pokemon Go.

Weather is a thing. It affects spawn rates of the affected types and the potential strength of said types when you find them.

And you can visually see the weather on screen. It's a nifty little feature they have added in that I love. Now I can finally enjoy snow after years of hating it.

And we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 5p more friends to add to our pokedex. So far it's gteat seeing the new types, this is where creativity started peaking with Pokemon in my opinion.

And more Pokemon from the less populated types as well. I love poison, bug, ghost, and dark Pokemon, and this generation has them! Very fun times.

The additional features added in this iteration of PoGo are enough to keep casual players like me interested. Hardcore raiders are having a blast as well right now as it is the last day for Ho Oh. Hopefully you enjoyed my little nerd blurb.

I've only experienced clear, foggy, and partly cloudy weather since the rollout so I haven't noticed the visual changes much, but so far I'm really enjoying the weather effects on spawns and the bonus stardust for weather-boosted pokemon, it's like there's a constant mini-event.

It is a super nice feature, by far one of my favorite changes.
