The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild
One of the highest rated games of 2017! Everyone seems to gloat about what a great game this is. I couldn't play this one because I do not have a Switch, but maybe someday I will get around to it.
Horizon Zero Dawn
One of the best Sony exclusives of the year! Always thought this game looked look great and had an interesting story line. Once it came out it got great reviews! The extensive open world and combat systems inter-twined with a good plot make it appealing to me.
Injustice 2
I don't follow the Injustice series too much, but I have heard great things about this game. I do remember playing the first game with friends and having a really good time.
Splatoon 2
I really wanted to play the original of the series. I think this game is totally up my ally. This is pretty much just an upgraded version so I still need to check out this game. Another Switch exclusive that I want to check out!
Sonic Mania
Somehow this game completely slipped under my radar. A sequel in the original style of the Sonic games. I totally overlooked this game until I created this list. Finally, a sonic game with some good reviews doing good for the franchise!

I really want to play Horizon: Zero Dawn and Nier: Automata from last year. Two games that I really did not get a chance to play, as 2017 had to many great games. It was a crazy year for games!
