Microsoft Confirms Crossplay Talks With Sony Still Ongoing
During a Gamescom 2017 interview Xbox head of marketing, Aaron Greenberg gave confirmation that crossplay between PS4 and Xbox users isn't a dead concept. This info comes to us just 4 days after Eurogamer Reported the disappointing news to ARK: Survival Evolved players that Sony "won't allow" crossplay for the Dinosaur themed multiplayer game.
In the interview with Gamereactor, Greenberg stated "We're talking to Sony, we do partner with them on Minecraft and of course we would like to enable them to be part of that; one community, to unite gamers. So we're talking to them and we're hopeful that they'll be supportive of it."
One day we may still have the chance to settle it once and for all, in a real online multiplayer console war!
