Metro Exodus | An honest Review

Imagine a world where everything has been destroyed and you along with many others have been living underground for many years, sounds similar to fallout right? wrong.

Metro exodus takes an interesting approach to the idea. the game set in Moscow takes the player on a journey on a train across the country encountering many different enemies, people, places and more.

The thing I enjoy most about playing the game is the incredibly detailed graphics, voice acting, and character models. I enjoy that the game gives you the freedom to do what you want to a certain extent, you can choose to do things in the areas you visit, except for anything that will affect the main story-line of course.

Okay, enough about the pros, what about the cons?
of course there are cons, every game has them. and in Metro Exodus there are definitely some glitches and bugs. but so far nothing that can't be fixed with an update. I have experienced one or two crashes so far in my time playing the game and a couple of times when one of the animations fail causing me to have to restart the game to fix the problem otherwise the game would not continue to the next stage, but what about cons that aren't nessecarilly bugs? Metro exodus has some things us gamers like to call Bullet Sponges, they are normal enemies that just soak up bullets and it makes the game feel unrealistic and gives you the feeling they were all tired after working on the graphics or were just too lazy in the first place.

other than these few problems with the game, I think metro exodus is well worth the purchase, especially for fans of open world games as this takes a great approach to the open world aspect. alternatively, users are also able to purchase Xbox game pass ultimate for $1 this month and $16 after that and I think this is a great deal for Xbox and pc gamers as on Xbox you get access to not only game pass but Xbox live gold as well.
