Hello Steemian..!! Good evening steemian wherever you are. May his condition always and always and always be in the protection of Almighty God. Reunite with @teguhrianto, on this Sunday night I'll be back to share the same game review reviews with the previous series. Well ,, on this occasion I will review the game JUST CAUSE 3 - Sky Fortress. Want to know what kind of reviews I will discuss, let's just look at the steemian directly?
Year 2015 yesterday was arguably, so a special year for Avalanche Studios. Their cold hands directly spawn two open-world games with different approaches and appeal, Mad Max and Just Cause 3. For this last title, the popularity of the two previous series which is known as a crazy action game that can never be reasoned with sense healthy does make it quite anticipated at the end of last year. More over Avalanche promises many new things, including a wider world, gadget variants and more weapons, and a much more interactive environment. Something that we can finally try directly.
You who had read our preview before seem to have a little idea about the attraction of what this game is offered. Visually, Just Cause 3 deserves the title as the current generation game through the tremendous detail of the character model side as well as its exceptional Mediterranean design, complete with one of the best water visual qualities we've ever found in any game . Unfortunately, ever since it was first played, this game has shown some irritating technical issues, including the implementation of DRM use despite the fact that the military organization you are currently fighting is called DRM. The first impression he offered was not so strong. So, what is actually offered by Just Cause 3 this? Why do we call it a game that offers destruction as a solution? This review will discuss it more deeply for you.
Just Cause 3 can be regarded as the "indirect sequel" of Just Cause 2 considering the main character they share, is the same. You still play the role of Rico Rodriguez, but now with an older and masculine look at the same time. 6 years since his action in Just Cause 2, Rico decided to return to his hometown in the Mediterranean, a small island cluster called Medici. But as can be predicted, not the peace that welcomes Rico. A condition forced her to return to action. The Medici is now under the control of a dictator named Sebastiano Di Ravello who controls the Medici with an iron fist. This one megalomaniac general is ambitious not only to make Medici under his feet, but to conquer the whole world through the energy produced by a dangerous mineral called Bavarium. As you can predict, Rico Rodriguez is the only spearhead to make sure this insane plan is unsuccessful. Not struggling alone, Rico is also helped by other friends, like Dimah - an old woman and also a researcher who consistently offers new gadgets, to Mario - her faithful childhood friend.
The fight to seize power from the hands of Di Ravello is certainly not an easy job. He built so many resources to make sure his power did not fall out of the way, rather than a propaganda tower that consistently throws heretical information in all Medici cities, billboards to keep reminding people who is in charge, to military infrastructure with all the heavy weapons designed to erase all kinds threats that may arise, especially with a group of rebellions who continue to struggle to overthrow him. This strategy is of course effective, at least until you - Rico Rodriguez starts acting. So, what kind of threats should you face to ensure Di Ravello leave Medici? Can Rico do it? All answers to these questions you can answer by playing Just Cause 3 this.
Avalanche Studios deserve a thumbs up for their success to make Just Cause 3 worthy of the title of today's open-world game. We certainly do not talk about the gameplay or features it offers, but the elements that are on the surface - visual. Graphically, it executes this extraordinarily. Character models that look full of detail and a variety of explosion effects are mixed bombast more perfect with Medici design that pamper the eyes. The sensation of a country located in the Mediterranean with its buildings, colors, and quality of the ocean with its hot sun reflection brings together an extraordinary atmosphere. For an open-world game, the "playing field" offered by Just Cause 3 deserves thumbs up. More cool? The fun element of this vast exploration of the world is also reinforced by an extraordinary level of physics-based interactivity for every object that exists. You always have a chance to destroy the various objects that exist, from the super small size to the various buildings in the giant Medici. Or you might be able to take advantage of existing explosives to fly it, pull it by using a tether grappling hook, and a variety of similar activities. This level of interactivity deserves thumbs up, especially when you succeed in creating a massive destruction, whether from a giant radar that falls to the ground or just a chain reaction of an explosion that arises from a nearby explosive power plant. Destruction is an integral part of Just Cause 3 and is a source of pleasure.
So why do we call it "expensive beauty?". You who frequent JagatPlay may well understand that we rarely discuss a lack of clarity at the beginning of the article. But the case that happened in Just Cause 3 is too special to be ignored just like that. Because apart from all the beauty and level of destruction you can get, Avalanche seems to make the sacrifice of performance as something that feels appropriate. Playing this game on Playstation 4 (we have no clear idea about performance on PC version) with the latest patch, but ended a nightmare. Doing this game review process 1 month since released, with new patches that have been pinned, help. Just Cause 3 can be called the Playstation 4 game with the worst performance we tasted during the year 2015 yesterday. If you play it in a "quiet" atmosphere, it will offer a stable framerate at 30fps. But once you start craze and start destroying many objects, especially when you manage to get helicopter gunships with unlimited missiles that easily destroy even gigantic objects, the performance of Just Cause 3 is falling apart. Framerate falls dratis with slowed gameplay and a no-nonsense game sensation. Worse yet? This condition could still be worse. Imagine the same scenario with the effects of rain that sometimes appear in the Medici with the rainy texture that keeps pouring out of the sky and makes a wet effect on the ground? Yes, as you can predict, Just Cause 3's framerate Playstation 4 version is free.
The really worrying thing is the capability of Avalanche Studios - as the studio developer to start offering a more concrete solution to this problem. Because doing this game review one month since the initial release, complete with the latest patch implementation, and still dealing with technical issues that still feel noticeable, is not a good signal and promising. Unfortunately, we do not know for sure whether the same problem is happening on all existing release platforms, including PC and Xbox One, or just happens in Playstation 4 version only. One is for sure, the beauty of Just Cause 3 demands "expensive" is quite expensive.
Since the beginning of its existence, Just Cause is not an open-world gaming franchise that seeks to pursue the highest level of realism. He is always treated as a fun action game that does not have to be rooted in reasoning whether something is possible or not in the real world, or whether it is logically designed compared to other open-world or third person shooter games. Just Cause 3 is also rooted in the same concept, perfecting it with a variety of features worth talking about, but still comes with one common thread. Rotating red thread on one message and clear action. That, destroying it is commendable deeds and solutions to all things trouble. That in order to free the people from the grip of a dictator, you must make everything flat with the ground. So it is also what you will find in Just Cause 3. Like an open-world game with such a vast world, the progress of the new story will move as you begin to continue your main mission. You have almost absolute freedom to start acting from the first time you set foot in the Medici and he waits for you to release. So what should you do to throw this dictator's power to the ground besides following the main story? Destroy everything he has, in every corner, with all the heavy weaponry and war vehicles you have.
The world of Just Cause 3 is divided into several large regions each containing different provinces, which are then re-divided into specific areas that represent the dictator's power. To get rid of it, you just have to go to these areas, destroying all the designated facilities through the indicator column at the top left of the screen and making sure there's no more Di Ravello's influence there. These areas could end up being a small town with people hustling back and forth or really a gigantic military facility guarded super-tight by government forces. But regardless of whatever conditions you face, the point remains the same, destruction. You must destroy all the facilities that are usually marked with this red color to reclaim the power of this cruel general. But again, Just Cause 3 is not the typical third person shooter game you've been familiar with, especially in terms of logic. First, Rico is a superhero and not a human being. Why? Because it is almost impossible for a human being to do what he does. It is ready to accommodate the vomit of dozens of enemy bullets without protective clothing, can live when jumping free from altitudes that might make your bones fall apart, and defeat the law of gravity with ease. The bad news? There is never a clear indicator of when you can survive or not. At one point we walked healthy after falling from a helicopter of the same height, while the other ended up dying.
Second, that the open-world concept that he usung comes with almost absolute freedom. There is no definite "strategy" to free this Medici and you have the opportunity to experiment with various options. But slowly but surely, the most effective strategy always ends with mastering an opponent's combat helicopter that can easily be done, sending hundreds of missiles to these important targets, and then ending up with an "independent" Medici status but devastated. Even if you are confident enough to rely on only weapons and explosives in your hand, the troops Di Ravello are also not intelligent beings. A similar case in the previous series, there is no improvement on the AI side that is not only weak, but not responsive enough with the action you do. The only thing they can do is increase the amount to be a counter.
Third, which is also the key to why the concept of destruction is the best solution in Just Cause 3 and making it simple is the fact that there is no fatal consequence that can arise from any madness you are doing here. That your status as a "hero", "Medici rescuer", "source of hope" was also followed by the "What-do-what-we-build-again" status that in fact neutralizes any negative consequences that can happen. You can destroy public facilities like bridges, killing innocent people as good as invisible, making them as toys that invite laughter, even killing rebel forces who should be your friends without any effect. So free Just Cause 3, so you can act worse than the dictator though. The concept may be strange, but we are talking about Just Cause 3, and what he implements here does end up being a fun product.
Unfortunately, in spite of all this madness, liberating Medici is something that may be interesting in the early 5-6 hours of the game. But once you discover the fact that what you are doing will not be so different until all the provinces are liberated and that all the military headquarters are destroyed, you who are sensitive to repetitive content may start to feel bored and see it as an unattractive task. Fortunately, these inconveniences are wrapped with rewards that are mostly worth it, like more variants of weapons and vehicles you can call using Supply Drop. True, like Snake at MGS V, you can also call Supply Drop in limited quantities to not only refuel your weapon bullet or offer new weapons, but also the range of war vehicles, from tanks to helicopters that magically emerge from inside the container so only.
Releasing each of these provinces will also unlock the mystery of the location of collectibles that you can gather, some of which also allow you to access a more unique and powerful Exotic weapon variant if it is all gathered. Action is repetitive indeed, but at least there is an extra reason to continue making your Wingsuit, our favorite feature on Just Cause 3, keep fluttering. Forget about cars, planes, or helicopters, Rico comes with a more effective navigation capability through a combination of three technologies - a grappling hook to take you quickly in the direction you want, a parachute that can expand at any time, and of course the wingsuit that provides the ability gliding and rapid exploration opportunities. The point? If you begin to master enough this new mechanism, even Spiderman will begin to look at Rico's figure with a look of envy. So, is the main mission and opportunity to free Medici these two activities you can do in Just Cause 3? You who are easy to feel bored and thirsty challenges may be pulled away when reading the above section. But just calm down, Just Cause 3 still have a variety of activities to do.
That's all I can say for Sunday night tonight, Hopefully with this I hope to be a sharing reference that has not played this game yet. As for my opinion about this game is still interesting to play because it has features and visuals for even though it has a storyline that is not interesting for me. Hopefully useful and once again can provide useful game reference.
@teguhrianto
That's a nice BioShock-inspired art deco divider you got there. In case you don't know what I'm talking about.. I'm talking about this:
However, if it were not made to be used by other people, I'm sure the creator wouldn't like it if you use it. Which is me. Especially if you don't ask for permission first.
So I want you to stop using it, or any of my other images in every single one of your future posts because 1. I didn't make that for everyone to use, 2. Because I'm asking you nicely.
Stop using it, would you kindly?
