Yes yes yes yes yes. I've never seen Sniper Wolf and Raiden in the same picture. I love this! That Foxhound logo is fucking adorable, too. I remember having a slight crush on the pixelated Wolf back as a kid. Dat cleavage, doe lol

also, this drove me psycho mantis in in high school.

:]

Holy. Shit. That isn't Hideo's signature is it??!?!?!!?! Talk about going psycho mantis!!! Even moreso than not knowing to plug your controller into port 2!!!!!

well in all fairness they did tell us to call for help when we needed it.
and yes it is :]

Wow man that is too cool. You definitely have the most righteous copy of MGS evaaaaaaaar. Super jelly :)

yeah right only if he actually signed an original copy of the game instead of the greatest hits edition I got, which has a big green thing on it. you should get yours signed by him man, I'm sure he'll be doing signature tours soon after his new game comes out. :]. sorry he is kind of an art senpai to me!!!

Yes!!! I love him. I have the original one, too. If I catch wind of him coming through Colorado I'd be there

I have this really sweet comic book of MGS, air brushed by an artist named Ashley Wood (I believe). It's one of my most prized possessions and only comic series I own the complete set of. Also still have my original copy of MGS for the PS1! Thought you may appreciate that :)

dude, I love you. #same everything you said, including the crush on Wolf.
She was the first game character to break my heart! I have a smile btw, thanks for noticing. I got so much love for this series...

IMO one of the coolest stories and list of characters ever created! He's got his own unique feel to his work, you know? Over the top characters, crazy powers and personalities, government espionage/conspiracy and a subtle dose of humor. A student and I were just talking yesterday how Snake is probably the only dude to look cool with a mullet. I do miss David Haters (forgot how to spell last name), but Keifer does alright as a voice actor I suppose. I heard Hideo is going to do one last game true to the series after his contract is up with Konami? I feel like I heard something like that. The series has been a little watered down, but still fun. I enjoyed Ground Zero and Phantom Pain, but they were kind of lacking in story.

I agree they were a let down in the story department, which's a shame since the technical capabilities at that point were so mind blowing I still haven't seen a game with that level of quality or attention to detail, it was also very fun and addicting to play but I don't feel the pull to replay it that I have towards MGS1, 2 or 3. I wonder how much of market pressures influenced business decisions that effected the final creative output (which is ridiculous I know since the creative is usually what fuels the business as we saw in MGS1 and 2.

I do miss David Hayter's voice for Snake too.
I didn't know he's going to do one last metal gear. It will be cool if they produced the Fire of the Flies chapter in the Phantom Pain, have you seen that?

in terms of antagonists, MGS1 had my favorites!
How about you?

I have not heard of the Fire of the Flies chapter! I will look into this. I would have to agree on the antagonists, too, with a close second to Snake Eater. Between Revolver Ocelot, Raven, Sniper Wolf, Liquid and (especially) Grey Fox, they were some of the most memorable bad guys.

sorry I mistyped, I meant to say Lord of the Flies. (sorry long hours at work recently got my brains all jumbled up.) Revolver Ocelot is the only one who witnessed all of the games, like a boss. :]

I'd love a gray fox prequel, how sick will that be? like a ninja stealth game involving him with some espionage, oooooffff!!!! and are you calling Gray Fox a bad guy! 💔

it's so sad knowing they never got around to finishing this

Wow this was really cool! I always wondered what Eli was going to get into after he escaped the base. I'm pretty sure he's Liquid Snake, and it would be cool to get more back story. You are right about Gray Fox, too. MGS does a great job at blurring the lines between good guys and bad guys. Besides, I guess he does help you defeat metal gear

Oh my, looks like a sudden screenshot while playing. So, when the craze for games combines with the amazing art skills, here are the results.
Keep it up @tetsuo :)

it's hard not to fall in love with these games though,
you see they really put a lot of love into making it. :]
anyway, thanks for noticing and for the uv!

Really nice work, have you done any animation in this style?

It reminds me a little bit of Devilman Crybaby

Hey Drawtson,
Thank you, I haven't. Still a dream at this point of my skills, hopefully in the near future I can get one of these moving. and I just finished watching Devilman Crybaby, wow.

What did you think?

I reaaaalllly liked it. It disturbed me profoundly (which I didn't love) but it was unique, visually beautiful, and it made me think, so I had to accept that I liked it haha

same here, I felt it was so unique and the story really got me thinking as well. the last two episodes were so heart breaking. I also thought the animation style was so unique.

Yeah, I was not prepared for where the series decided to go. They throw you a bone here and there to make you think that this will be a conventional anime where EVERYTHINGS GOING TO BE OK OK!?

But in my experience it's the stories that have "bad" endings, sad ones or complicated ones that really stick with you.

If a story is wrapped up too nice and neat, then your mind really doesn't dwell on it much.

I agree, I just wasn't expecting it to be so heart breaking.
I think the stories that wrap up so nicely feel comfortable and cozy, but part of me always knows that life is not always this way and writers who dare expose the dark side of the human psyche and force us to sit with it and confront it and try to digest it and process it work better sometimes to heal us and help us move forward as a species.

there is something oppressive about demanding positivity all the time, so I agree with you. I just felt so heartbroken that everyone I cared about ended up the way they did.

What I did love about it through is how they showed that humans can be way more evil and dangerous than any other devil or other things they demonize, that was pretty powerful.

anyway, so grateful for netflix and that shows like these are finally being made. :]

Dude I really like you art style

Obviously you have enough extraordinary about gaming. Thanks for your creativity & art.
Thanks

Thanks for noticing :]
