The Elder Scrolls: Legends First Impressions

in gaming •  8 years ago

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a card game much in the same vein as Magic: The Gathering or Hearthstone. Players collect cards and play against each other, trying to knock the health of their opponent down to zero. If you like The Elder Scrolls franchise, then this game might be for you!

I'm not good at these types of games, but I'm always willing to give it the ol' college try.

I loved the game but there's something about HS that just keeps me going back there. Damn Blizzard!

They've got you hooked! I know that feeling too!

Hope this game does well, Hearthstone is getting a bit stale,

I hope so too. I need to play more of it.

I was honestly considering giving this a shot - looks really cool and I've always been a fan of the franchise.

It's free so even if you don't like it, at least you haven't dropped any money into it! I can't vouch for any of the later game stuff but the early stuff has been decently fun.

Good video, I will try this out. But I think Gwent is the best digital card game available for today.

I need to try that out. I love the Witcher universe and it was a surprise hit with me when I started playing Wither 3.

I have tried this game a few weeks ago.
I think it was pretty good, but I found out that because of HS I'm very much burned out on card games for the moment.

I imagine that's probably the case for many people. Blizzard has a habit of keeping people addicted to their games to the point of burning them out.

Yeah, did it for me with WoW and MMORPGs (though I did play GW2 for a few months after quiting WoW - but just PvP) and now with CCGs and Hearthstone

I play a lot of Overwatch and I can see that happening there too. The events happen so often that there's never enough time to get all of the things that I would want in the timespan. So I end up playing too much of it and burning myself out on it.
