EOS! May the Highest Bidder Win! – EOSTimesteemCreated with Sketch.

The EOS community is growing bigger every day, and the number of projects attempting to create the next viral Dapp, doesn’t look like it’s going to be slowing down any time soon!

However, with every dapp that comes out looking like another dice game, it good to finally see some projects ‘thinking outside the circle’.

In an earlier post 'Gambling and Gaming Crossover on EOS is a ‘Game’ Changer' I talked about a very promising project by FastECO, which is FAST Hero.

They have started with a simple dice game, and have managed to to turn it in to a highly addictive, interactive game with characters, weapons and stats, that you can upgrade to help you compete in the competitions. It’s something completely new and really says a lot about the team behind it.

Another project that i wanted to highlight in this post, who hasn’t just rolled out another basic dice game, but has chosen to stick to the gambling model, with shared divided payouts for it’s users, is EOSTime.

EOS Time is an auction style bidding game, where you bid against other EOS users to win the pot. If an auction ends because the bid counter goes to zero, the last bidder recorded wins he total pot.

You can start playing in a game from as little as 0.0004 EOS and this increases with each bid within a specified game.

If you bid when the count down timer is below 20 seconds then your bid will replace the previous bidder and the timer will start from 20 seconds again, if no one bids before the timer reaches zero, then you win the pot, and a new game starts.

Currently this is very new, so as more users come to join, and the pace of each game picks up, i imagine they will open up more pots and game styles, but to get things going this is definitely something different and may interest a few people bored of rolling dice.

Although still in it’s early days, I like how this project has decided to try something new and look forward to seeing what other auction style games they can come up with in the future.
