Imagine, killing the afterburners and pulling an outside loop to head for the carrier.
Setting your sights on that first wire, dropping the tailhook and setting flaps to descend to the floating fortress.
With over 1000 hours of flight time in Arma it is safe to say, landing on the carriers is something that takes a lot of practice, dedication, and understanding of how boats move, planes fly, and more importantly how to keep your navigator alive.
There are many who would say flying is scary, dangerous, and not worth the risk.
I say, bring it on! From flying refueling practice missions with my friends to loading up the C-130 for air drops on target AO.
It brings me to a place where I can forget about the world and focus on the mission, on the flight pattern, and on success.
Sometimes, showing someone precision flying formations helps to hone in their skills.
Even when they don't even know the skill of pulling up your landing gear when showboating over the airfield.

One of the best aspects of flying is your wingman.
You have to trust them, put your life in their hands, and get to know their abilities, reaction time, and flight mechanics. A good wingman can make your flight relaxing, and amazing.
A bad wingman, well... can get you killed.
I used to want to fly for the Navy, and honestly. I don't know why I gave up on that dream. I have flown planes a few times in real life but without a pilot's license it didn't happen but a few times but I am blessed to have taken the controls of an aircraft and taken to the skies.
Wonderful pics! Thanks for sharing this great post, Timbo.
