In the 1970s, video games were most people’s first experience with computers. Crowds were drawn in by the relatable and eccentric content, as well as the chance to have their names immortalized on the High Score list.

All of the units in the arcade were refurbished original models.

Scramble is a 6 level, single player game. As the levels progress, the difficulty increases. Once the player has complete all 6 levels, they are returned to level 1 with an even higher difficulty. Scramble’s creators flaunt their control over players with their forced continuous scrolling. This gives the creator controller over the pace of the game play as well as full creative design over the maps.

I really enjoyed this game. The controller was very responsive. The gameplay was very simple. A joystick and a button to shoot lasers is all you need. But the game does get very challenging, very quickly.
