What is The Binding of Isaac Rebirth?
TBOIR (The Binding of Isaac Rebirth) is a action adventure roguelike dungeon crawler twin stick shooter developed by Nicalis, and was release on November 4 2014.
Story
TBOIR is a modern take on the story of Isaac from the Bible. Isaac's mother is commanded by God to sacrifice Isaac to him. In order to prove herself to God. So Isaac fearing death opens a trapdoor to the basement, (a version of Hell) and jumps down in order to escape her wrath.

Gameplay
You navigate Isaac through five randomly generated levels of the basement, each one more difficult then the last. You can also play as other characters, which are re-skinned versions of Isaac but they also have there own abilities. When you first start you can only play as Isaac who can shoot tears out of eyes as projectiles. As you progress you can get power-ups that can either make you more stronger or more weaker.

As I mentioned earlier you can choose different characters as you unlock them.

Presentation
If you could not tell from the screenshots this game has some disturbing imagery, which I like about this game.
Final Thoughts
I love this game I have played for countless hours, and on every playthrough I encounter something different. Even though this game is a retelling of the story of Isaac it is its own game, with a lot of original ideas. If you like these types of games then I highly recommend this game. You can get it for; PS4, PS VITA, Wii U, New 3DS, XBOX ONE, and PC for the price of $15.
