The Spy Class has some Very Nice Tools that assist with the Spy's Job of Sneaking around and Sabotaging the enemy team.
One of these Options Turns the Disguise Function into something worth keeping around. The Your Eternal Reward
The Your Eternal Reward (Commonly Abbreviated as the YER) Is a Knife Replacement for the Spy.
Any Successful Backstab will Disguise you as the person you backstabbed. In Addition Any Backstabs are also Silent.
The Downsides Include....33% Faster Cloak Drain Rate, and using the Disguise kit Consumes and Requires a Full Cloak Meter.
Basically this Weapon is all about Disguises and knowing when to Disguise, and Picking what Target to Pick off.
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!
This Weapon has 3, Count'em 3! Hidden Stats. Ok really it's 2, and a Hidden Quality of Life Stat.
These Hidden Stats are.
Successful backstabs do not leave behind Corpses, Backstab kills are NOT Shown in the Kill Feed, and using the Disguise kit in a Spawn Room Does not Drain the Cloak.
The no Corpse thing, and Kill not showing in Kill Feed Really Helps at Staying Hidden, which is what this weapon was pretty much made for.
However there is one thing that Ruins the Second Hidden Stat, Team Chat. Basically you backstab a Victim only for them to rat you out in Team chat because for some reason the Alive players can see the Dead's Messages on Chat.
It's ultimately a Minor thing but it gets annoying after a while.
Now for weapons to Pair this with.
For Revolver the L'Etranger is almost a necessity as it mitigates the Cloak Drain Rate Penalty.
Secondly for invis-watch I would personally recommend Stock, but any of them can work.
Now for Opinions on the Weapon.
Personally the YER is...Alright at best.
I'm not a fan of weapons that Hinder a Very Base Ability like this.
But for this one, it's Alright, before Jungle Inferno I did not like this thing at all. but it's Buff in JI made it a bit better for me.
