Boss Battles!
I just love them, They usually Acts as a Test of Skill for the Game you are currently Playing.
And Usually the Music is Made in a way where it gives out Adrenaline and Tension, to Put you into the Mood for Battle, or give out Stress to Add to a Greater Satisfaction of Victory, And of course are usually awesome Tracks to listen too on their own.
I have my Favorites, so here we go, my top 5 Boss Battle Tracks.
I have some Rules. 1 Game Per Franchise, No Boss themes only used for 1 Character, and No Final Boss Songs. I'm Making a Separate list for Those.
Oh and dont think this is me going "Hush hush", I WILL be Commenting on these songs, trust me, it wasn't easy to put into words.
I do NOT Own the Songs or the Videos having the Songs in them. Credit goes to each respective Uploader
NUMBER 5: "Never Let Up" - Mario and Luigi: Dream Team
Whoo, Can't Avoid this anywhere.
"Never let up" is a Song that has been Heard beyond the actual consumer base, and Frankly, It Deserved such an Act.
Serving as the Boss Battle Theme for Dream Team, "Never let up" is Super Fast Paced and Just as Empowering, It's Sure to Lighten your Mood, and Set you Straight for battle!
I Really Like the Direction taken for this Track, Most Boss themes Deliver Tension In the Notes Right away, to deliver the proper message. This one, In Contrast, Likes to Remind you the Fun Factor comes first before anything before Changing into the Proper tension on the Half Minute Mark.
Freaking Brilliant.
NUMBER 4: "Boss Theme 1" - Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Ahh Xenoblade, Why is your music so Freaking AMAZING?
To be honest, This theme seems to dont know what it wants to be, It Tires to be Intense and Somber, but instead it Gives up and goes back to the Upbeat Notes from Before. it's Kinda Jarring, and it's the only thing keeping it from getting any Higher.
But it's Still a Great Song that I still have not Grown Tired of, It's Upbeat yet Still Intense and Fast Paced, and it's Generally a Fun Track.
NUMBER 3: "Attack! (Boss Battle)" - Kirby Triple Deluxe
Oh My GOD that Intro is always great!.
Triple Deluxe's Boss theme is Power. Pure POWER.
The Super SANIC Speed, The Adrenaline, The Tension, ITS GREAT.
I can't find the Words for this Track....
NUMBER 2: "Boss Battle 1" - Kid Icarus Uprising
Who would even Predict that a Game Based on Greek Myths has a Boss Song Like this?
Boss Battle 1 Plays for every Standard boss in the Game(With a Few Exceptions) and It SOMEHOW, Never gets old.
With that Electric Guitar, Adding in the Kid Icarus Main theme at the 50 Second Mark, and I just really Love how the song gets Rightfully more intense as the fights continue. Just...GUHHH Its so Good!
NUMBER 1
This Last Song is Special to me, Not Only is it a Good Piece of Music, but it also holds Value in my Heart. as Cliched as it Sounds.
Any Ridicule is Worth it.
NUMBER 1: "Battle! Gym Leader (Johto)" - Pokemon Heartgold/Soul Silver
Yea, it's from Pokemon, Yea I know, I'm Surprised too.
A Remix of the Gym leader them from the Original Pokemon Gold and Silver.
Heart Gold is probably my most Nostalgic Pokemon Game that I still Currently Own.
And the Theme that Plays During Battles against the Johto's 8 Gym Leaders is my Favorite Boss Battle Theme.
For one of my Favorite, and most challenging games for me when I was Younger, The Johto Gym leader theme Represents my Struggle against These Leaders. While some were Easy, others gave me Challenge. and were the most Satisfying to Overcome.
This theme Also Plays for the Elite 4 as well and Man, It fits them just as well. My Challenge and Difficulty on my First Playthrough Will always Be Cherished in this Song. While My Original File is gone. It Still Holds Great Memories.
I am Ultrawing, I hope you all have a Great Day.
