Chronicles of Himalayas : Chapter Everest. A game exploring the mysterious mountains of Nepal.

Kaji, a teenager Serpa son of the Sherpa Chief, belongs to a mysterious village in Everest region. A secretive village that not much people know about from the outside world.

Thousands of years ago the first Sherpa chief of the village established the village in coordination with "Chomolongma - the mother of mountains". A deal was struck between the gods of the mountains and the Sherpa chief. No outsiders other than the native village people were to enter the sacred areas of the mountains. The home of the mountain gods were to be kept safe and pristine.

The Sherpa chief would coordinate, lead and execute the defense against the natural decaying caused by the demon of death and decay; while the mother of mountains were to spend time storing precious natural water in the mountains so it would be distributed to human race in need. The Sherpa chief was granted with a magical staff with super natural powers by the mother of mountains and her generals to lead this responsibility of protection and defense.

Thousands of years have passed by. Facts changed to stories and stories changed in to myth. People in the sacred village now tell their children stories about this fairy tale sounding deal between the first chief and the mother of the mountains. The village chief still bares the staff but how to use the powers granted by the mother of mountain was a forgotten art.The world had evolved and sense of magic was forgotten.

The sacred mountain isn't what it use to be. Pollution and encroachment is at highest and every year condition of the mountain degrades. The oldest monk is the village says; its about time the village will suffer for forgetting the promises they made to the mother of mountains. People have been disappearing and were never found again. Some day whole flock of cattle were killed by creatures that no one had ever seen. A silent terror with no answer to solution seem to have covered the village. A few weeks ago, Sherpa Chief lead a search party in to the deep mountains to find the missing persons; with a hope, they would find some sort of answer to the situation.

They never returned. As the son of the village chief; now its Kaji's turn to take his place as the village chief in a very young age. But the throne of the village chief also comes with huge responsibility and loads of danger. Running away is not his option nor his nature.
