ASidCast: Indian nerds came together

ASidCast, sounds weird, don't it? I didn't know this existed for a long while and I wish I'd known it sooner. My really good friend @qwertz143 got me in on this Discord community full of people in India who were involved in some way in creating good content or directly linked to the gaming industry in India so I knew for a fact that if they were already in the gaming scene at this moment in time in India, then all of these people are moving on to become big figureheads in the gaming scene of India in near or far future, whatever it takes for gaming to take off as a whole in India like it has the rest of the world.

ASidCast

HISTORY

ASidCast was made back in 2013 by a man named Aman Biswas for the the purpose of bringing together a community of Indian dweebs, I mean nerds, gaming nerds and their vision back in the day was to become one of the best gaming journalism companies in India. They published a few articles on gaming back in the day and it had to see the end of it as Aman Biswas and the rest of ASidCast, very small at the time got busy with what is called life.

Fast forward into the future, as of now, the community is back full power and is making an initiative to bring out a different side to the Indian gaming scene, growing at this point, the Discord community has a few of the good Indian streamers that I personally like myself and just great people that have come together to make things happen and I love this kind of thing myself, I can't have a day where I would give anything to build up a beautiful community if I see beautiful things happening around them, so I try to show support in whatever way I can.

Reviving ASidCast brought them around to focus more on the digital aspect of gaming itself online so they started making videos and the idea was to make "quirky content" as phrased by Udit/Ren-pai. And now their vision is of course elevated to what it should be appropriate for the current era, following the right path into the grand scheme of things. Gaming has seen it's days in India but is just still in the dark, should be bigger than it is, or so we all keep thinking time and time again. ASidCast brought together people who saw vision in what gaming can do and what gaming does as a whole and it is a community to steer clear of the path that kills gaming in India, I think ASidCast and many different communities like it will not let it die, in fact it will do just the opposite and make it grow.

Podcasts, that's what they do. They bring in the people in and around the Discord community to join them on their podcasts which happen weekly at the very least and they're planning on coming out with different kinds of content to the table and that says something about this community and how they plan to build the gaming scene in India.

I have wanted to help people build communities and then in turn make something big out of something small but beautiful.

Today I want to introduce People of the Night. An initiative to support small time projects with small amounts of donations to help make the any form of network to grow an industry bigger but their only problem being the monetary factors. I want to help build this project for people like this because I believe Steemit is a place where there can be change made if you believe you can make the change, and I want to help see that something in the field of my interest, gaming or be it anything, I want to see it grow and more so I'd like to help these causes for what they stand for and what they can achieve if they had the right kind of help.

I want to bring out the best of what people can do as a team and not just individual growth in hand. We all need to work together to build things good enough for others to see and be involved in the same way that you're involved in.

I will be opening up donations for @ASidCast as of today and pitch to them the idea of Steemit and what it can do for them. Just send in your donation in the form of SBD or STEEM to @peopleofthenight and just add in 'ASidCast' as the memo so I can keep track of what to use your valuable currency for. And you can reassure it's going to a good cause and the cause I'm striving to work towards.

I think that should be the end of it for today. I love making gaming content, more for myself than for you guys, but it benefits all of us in the end, so it works out for everyone in the end anyway. True happiness is everywhere you can make something happen.
