Escape From Tarkov will begin its closed beta phase this month of July. The beta will open to anyone who pre-ordered any edition of the game, no matter when it was purchased. It was announced that it will include four locations: Customs, Woods, Factory, and the new Shoreline location. A new merchant will also be introduced to the game, "Peacemaker" who will provide Western weapons for players. Some new weapon parts and an "insurance system" will be implemented. Insurance can be bought with in-game currency and will allow players to keep their gear after they are killed.
