Using a RED Scarlet X 5K camera with a Razer Ripaw HDMI Capture Card to catch mixed reality on Space Pirate Trainer. This is my first time, so the virtual camera alignment is off. The RED pumps out so much data that it takes a few minutes for the hdmi capture card to start showing a feed. Whoever is the player or subject of the video is placed in front of a green screen . You then configure OBS open source software for live stream or recording. on OBS you have to filter the green screen and layer the video game screen over the subject. You have a mixed reality video. The major caveat is configuring a virtual camera for the game so that you can be in the exact sport as your in game camera. The process was so time consuming that I decided to record without doing it. Next mixed reality video I upload will be perfectly aligned as this was just a test. I attempted to post this with 240 characters on @zappl but it got lost into oblivion. I have another post for @zappl today.
