Last Night I checked out Big Sister's Dungeon
It's a puzzle horror adventure map, where you might want to bring your friends along to help you get through it. I'm a fan of anything horror related, and this map was just spooky enough to keep me wanting more. I followed some friends into this room for a fun night of spooks.
I had already been spooking people with my ghost avatar, and one person in particular (the one with blue hair) was already spooked before we even entered the dungeon. I almost feel bad that we were dragging him along, because I was going to be spooking them as well. ;]
I broke out my ghost avatar in the lobby, and did a little test to see if it would be of any use to me. The squeals, and "fuck you"s were a quick answer. I was told to get off of the avatar, but I wasn't going to listen. This was my territory. hehe
We plowed through some of the easier puzzles, and our friend was the only one really suffering. He just wanted to get it over with. We kept telling him to check things out, and letting him get jump-scared. It didn't help that the next room trapped us in small boxes with ghosts, and forced us to find an answer to a puzzle. I got trapped in the same box as someone else, and that unfortunately bugged it so that he was left trapped in the box alone while we moved forward.
Don't worry. We waited for him, and he eventually escaped. We continued the puzzles together. I forgot to take pictures of some of the rooms, because I was too busy spooking people. There were some pretty cool and creepy rooms along the way. We had a cute bunny with us to console us and keep us motivated.
We made it to one of the last rooms, and had to watch a bunch of creepy memories. We spent a lot of time chilling in this particular room, and our horrified friend was drinking himself to death to make it through the whole experience.
I always thought the idea of romances blooming in the midst of fear was some cheesy anime trope. A couple of people suddenly start clinging to each other, consoling each other, and spilling the beans in the middle of impending doom. Apparently it happens.
We finally finished the strange memory fragments, and we moved on to the real shit. I had never made it this far before (due to previous bugs) and I didn't realize that shit gets real. The "dungeon" turns into an actual dungeon, jumping puzzles and boss fight included.
I've never experienced a map that actually has a real MMO feeling boss fight. The jumping puzzles were actually stressful, and some of us were a bit tipsy while trying to get through the challenges.
It took us awhile, but we managed to defeat the big boss sister. We all sighed a breath of relief as we found our way to the exit door. The exit lead to a credit room, and was a much more relaxing room, even with the creepy ghosts staring at us from the other side of the room.
We spent some time taking selfies, and teasing our drunk friend. He was getting pretty plastered, and wasn't having any of our "take it easy" talk. I wondered if we had ended up torturing him a bit with all of the horror stuff.
We gave in and drew him a conveyor belt of booze.
It was a super fun experience, and a great night in general. It was pretty much the most fun I have had on a Sunday night in awhile. I would definitely do it again, especially with a group of friends. We might not talk our horrified friend into joining us next time though, unless he's secretly a masochist. ^^;
I think we actually killed him...
Hmmm... Boss fight? I thought you can't program actual RPG elemts in this game HP and such, wait... Is it controlled by AI?
While skimming through this I also got DanganRonpa feel... I find that interesting.
finallu... Ruby Rose!! Cuuuuuutee ~

Not until playmakers update, but I think this fight was mostly progressed due to triggers.
I have seen worlds where you add a collider, and each time a weapon hits, it updates the hp of the monster, so I think there are loopholes to make it feel like you're killing something.
