Over the past few weeks, developers at Niantic have added a new wave of creatures to Pokemon Go, along with exciting new features like real time weather. To celebrate, the studio has just released a short documentary film narrated by Stephen Fry. The video has a remarkable resemblance to the BBC Planet Earth series, unless it contains powerful sharks and cute little rodents, as well as Luvdisc and Plusle.
There is so much amazing in this trailer. Not only will the upcoming Pokémon Gen-3 coming to GO in the near future, it also features original scores by Academy Award nominees (and the music mastermind on Planet Earth, Blue Planet and Frozen Planet) George Fenton.
Despite being released more than a year ago, Pokemon Go is still active. Niantic recently added dozens of new pokemon from the Hoenn region to the game, setting up Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. The developers also revealed plans to add more legendary creature this year, and introduced updates to improve the augmented reality game features.
