A look inside my garage

Hi Steemians,
This post is really by way of an experiment, it's the first image that I've loaded here.
I opened my garage door, and this is what I saw, and it's like that all the way to the back. I guess it isn't surprising that I spend so much time on the net. I promise that as soon as the weather improves, I'll get on with clearing it, and using the space for something useful. There must be a fair bit of cash invested there as well.

Wow, I smell money here... You may want to get rid of a lot of these on offerup or on Craigslist man...

That's what I thought, but it's going to be a lot of work. Most of it is rubbish, and some has gone rotten. The vice is in good condition, and I need to decide if I want to keep it and do some work, or to spend most of my time on the Internet. I'm more interested in creating some video and audio blogs, and that's what attracted me to Steemit.

I could always load them into a van and take them to a car boot. Alternatively I could offer them for Steem. :)

There's a vice in there?! ;o)

I used to get quite a few of those when I had a recycling business. I could never work out why people used to chuck them out. They are fairly expensive, and sell for reasonable money as long as they are in good condition. I'm almost tempted to rent a shop for a month to get rid of some of the stuff. We seem to have a lot of empty shops around at the moment.

I'd guess it's because so few people actually make anything themselves any more, do you think...?

That just looks like a serious mess....
I really hope for your sake that there is some valuables in there, cuz cleaning it out and getting nothing out of that mess would NOT be my definition of fun...
One thing that would be a cool post tho, is to set up a camera (or your phone... who am i kidding) and videotape you taking stuff out of there with a time lapse. That would be kinda cool, and it could be like a motivational video for hoarders!

Laughing my ass off at this comment... You are a funny guy, @itsandylandman, and I second the motion for @upr8 to time lapse the process of reaching the back of this lot!

That sounds like an interesting idea. There are some books that have probably gone rotten. There is also some scrap iron, and I could run that into a yard. Most of the other stuff consists of chain saws, generators and stuff like that - all in need of a bit of tlc.

"Well, ain't that a mess? And if it ain't, it'll do 'til the mess gets here..."
