Here's a song that is very cool but more chill than the recent wild fuzzy Garage Rock tunes I have posted. Some may call this one slightly psychedelic, and it comes from 1967 which was a transition year from Garage Rock to the rise of Psychedelic music.
The Uncalled For is a six piece band from Tennessee and they are still playing together, all these years later! This song is guitar driven with an organ accompaniment. It's fairly mellow but the guitar is cool, with an up strum in the 4 chord progression to add some punch, and a sweet tasty guitar solo in the middle.
The lyrics are directed at the girl who may have had a rough day at school. Comfort and an example of how to live are offered by the guy.

Enjoy this cool 4 chord Garage Rock classic featured on the Pebbles Volume 8 compilation from the early days of the Garage Rock revival scene in the 80s. I love it and I think you can dig it too!
