Last night a young man on the Facebook Marketplace inquired about an item I'd listed a few weeks ago. (Yes, weeks!) He expressed interest in an old 1960's era typewriter I'd found at an estate sale back in late June.
I'd almost given up on selling the typewriter, and I had considered lowering the price, but I remained semi patient and this morning it paid off. The young man met me in the church parking lot where I serve and gladly handed over $30. I learned he was a self-published author and wanted the typewriter as an ornamental piece to sit in his home office.
It's incredibly cool how God provides our needs. I'm still working to scrape together some extra funds for our mini-vacation next week, and this extra thirty helps!
By the way, I paid $2 for the typewriter. Not too shabby of a profit!
As you can see form my profile description- I am a believer in all things happen for a reason and I know in my heart God wanted you to enjoy your mini-vacation. So he sent the young man to you. What a great story
