Just some SoCal Natural Pest Control gardening
Herb Garden edition
we are currently experimenting with our back corner garden beds by growing some ‘pest management’ plants and beneficial pest loving plants to set up our own ecosphere to keep our plants and our bodies as healthy and natural as possible.
Biodiversity is what we want!!! And especially need since California Wildflower diversity is in trouble due to climate change.
What we have in our beds:
In house vcoffee grounds vermicompost
Peat Moss
Perlite
Vermiculite
California wildflowers
(L-R) basil, carolina reapers, oregano, thyme, rosemary
Main goals:
Increase biodiversity of our bed and external environmental radius
Attract predatory pests to act as natural pest management
Create rich soil for next harvest turnover
Follow to stay updated on our permaculture journey!
