First Cucumber Salad from the garden today

in gardenharvest •  7 years ago

It was very exciting to get all the ingredients right from the garden this morning for a cucumber salad that I just ate.

Cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and an onion all pulled from the garden. Not bad for the first part of June.

If you aren't growing some of your own food, I'd highly encourage you to try it out. You would be surprised how easy it really is to grow fresh healthy food for you and your family.

That is exactly how I make my cuc salads in the summer. With EVOO and vinegar of course.

Yes Italian dressing on mine.

Awesome, It's way early to already have fresh tomatoes

yeah all my large tomatoes are still green, but these cherry ones are red now so I can't complain

I bet it would be a lot easier if I didn't have goats that are constantly getting into it! I hope they enjoy all the time and money I spend on my garden lol

Yeah, my absolute first step in making my garden was building the deer fence. I made a post about it.
