Returning to the farm and editing - loving life

I have been living at the farm and making films for over 10 years, so it's inevitable I have a routine down when I'm editing at home. It's goes something like this . . .

Make Tea!!

Edit for a couple of hours . . .

Get in the garden for a couple of hours . . .

Repeat . . .

Even though I was away for only 4 days the weeds at this time of year are growing at supersonic speed so I have been mainly weeding and clearing the plants going to seed. This is one of the simplest ways to keep the weeds down, just get rid of any unwanted plants (weeds) trying to seed themselves. Here is the most recent Bunty's Blog episode it's that time of year, when spring really kicks in!!

So after a few days of this process the garden is ship shape again. Still plenty to do around the farm, mowing, striming and with a warm dry spell coming there should be lots of watering and growing happening too!!

The film I've been working on goes behind the scenes at a British Wavesailing event. I've tried to tell the story of the windy day, it shows how the riders dealt with the changing conditions. We also had a youth camp going on and was great to involve them in the event and get them going in little waves. Here is the finished film on Windsurfing.tv

All in all a great week and looking forward to the beautiful spring time . . .
