Aquaponics Using Fish as Fertilizer

Hello Steemians!

The last post was about aquaponics without using fish to fertilize plants. You have got an impression how it will function. This was an overview, only. To become familiar with this theme you have to read one of the many books you will find in the internet. Some are for free and I recommend starting with those.


Today you can watch a video that demonstrate a system with fish as fertilizer. See the differences and decide what you will prefer for your own. If you eat fish or if you can sell it — perfect. Then you are right with a system which uses fish as fertilizer.

There are many species of fish you can use. Salt and fresh water types, big ones and small ones. The most commonly used one is tilapia. You can buy it in the internet. See, how it works.
