Since it's throwback Thursday, I thought some of you might be interested in seeing how my current garden space got started. My first garden in this location was in 2010. The garden that I had that year was a lot smaller than it is now. It has grown pretty much every year. Just for reference, here's a picture of it now.

This is the main garden at the end of May of this year.

This is how the garden started in 2010. These 2 pictures are from July 5th, 2010.

Very cool!!
Yeah, growing your own food is better even than creating your own cryptocurrency out of thin air!!
When you garden you breath fresh air, get exercise, and get the healthiest produce possible....plus reduce your expense and time driving to grocery store! It is truly amazing!
Keep it up!!
Peace!

All of that, plus it's good mental therapy.....
:-)

very good

Thanks!

The photo with the beans, are those Pink eye purple hull by chance?

No, those were Royal Burgundy beans. I had to look up the different purple bean varieties to jog my memory.

Progression has been in your favor.
Great expansion of the garden!
I wake up every morning from April until the first of November ready to go outside and dig in the dirt. Nothing gives me more pleasure (aside from hubby, my dog and family) then harvesting, growing, planting and canning!

I know how you feel. :-)

You're not kidding when you say it's grown! Nice haul out of the '10 version and smart to do the canning outside. You definitely have a green thumb!

Thanks!

Pretty good transition from start to finish. 🐓🐓
