Tiny flames in the garden!

First crocuses started appearing just as all the snow melted the other day! I really love and appreciate spring bulb flowers, their short appearance but long and unassuming lives and their perfect timing, there's something special about them.

Like an alarm clock for spring time, just seeing those little purple and yellow flames makes me feel all optimistic and hopefull for the coming season.

There is a kid's riddle in our language I'll try to translate. The fields are burning with a thousand fires in the spring, but they can't be extinguished by the blowing wind! What are they?

Also, a special greeting to all Bulgarians out here, for our national holiday!

I love seeing the first flowers. For all our extremely early spring like weather, my husband only found the first snow drop last Thursday. That's 6 weeks later than we often see them....

There is something weird going on with nature in the last years for sure... I just hope it's not for the worse...

It'll all work out. I feel like it's a bigger cycle than we know or than we can know.

Of course, I'm a serial optimist, so take anything I say with a grain of salt lol
