Medieval HERB show, Brisbane, AUSTRALIA.

Evening steemers,
Today I visited the HERB AWARENESS show in Brisbane and decided to share my travels. This post is being done off my phone so bear with me, my laptop has broken :-(

A floral display some lovely ladies were making and selling at a stall. $5 is pretty cheap for such a beautiful smelling peice of art!

The show was held in the area known as Albion on Brisbane's northside. I much prefer the northside of Brisbane to the southside of this city, there is just something about it.

There where so many herbs at this show it would be impossible to share them all but here are some of the ones I loved:

Sick of photos of herbs yet?
Didn't think so, here's some more!

Herbs wasn't the only thing this quirky little show had on offer:

Apparently hand made organic soaps specifically targeted at Gardner's soiled hands.

The fresh produce here was also amazing with taste tests available on most products for sale.

I love seeing insect feeding remnants on local produce, it's usually a sign they have used minimal pesticides on their crops.

Most of the produce was also reasonably priced considering the quality of the items. Everything I tasted was so much better than the shit you find at the supermarket.

So many tasty options....

The next peice of entertainment I came across was this strange gypsy dance outfit.. That is honestly the only way I know how to describe it. Strange but definitely entertaining :-)

Some pretty expressive head balancing skills were on show.

A full 360• rotation and she didn't even once look like dropping it!

Arts and crafts are very popular at shows like this, once again I will only feature a couple of my favourite ones:

These hand made BEE toys caught my eye and I had to buy one. The largest one was only $5.

These handmade candles also made me part way with some of my hard earned money :-)

This show also had a lot of things related to my favourite insect but that will be a hole post of its own!
I hope you have enjoyed this peak into a Brisbane herb show and found yet another reason to visit!

Happy herbing,
Sam.
