How to use coconut shell and husk chips for orchids, gardening tips by crazycraft

A beautiful indoor orchids and im going to show up how to repot it. Most orchids grown as houseplants it doesnt grow in  regular soil. Orchid roots need air. soggy roots of other grasses kills the plant so its not possible to plant it into soil. A light, absorbent like coconut husk helps the orchid's roots to stay healthy  by watering it.

Today i will show you the most easy and healthy way to plant orchids using a coconut shell and husk. 

First thing we need is coconut shell. 

Copper or other wires. We are going to use this to hold and secure the coconut husk and shell. 

Young and freshly cut orchids

Just remove the coconut husk from the shell and turn it to small chips

Put the orchids to the husk and secure it using the piece of wire. Coconut acts as water absorbent. Very comfortable for the orchids roots. 

Im going to combined each of the coconut shells using the copper wire. 

And now place the orchids at the center of coconut shell and close it.

Secure the coconut shell and put a sling to hang it using the copper wire

Place it anywhere in your backyard
