We finally know how to identify this plant. In this post, I will share the answer.

In my last two posts in which I shared photos of this flower growing in my garden, nobody was able to properly identify it.

The answer is:

Bergenia

According to gardeningknowhow.com, #Bergenia is also called #elephants-ear and sometimes #pipsqueak. You know why? Because it makes that sound when you rub two leaves together. It grows well in the shade, and is considered a very low maintenance plant. It can be divided to create more plants. It can grow well in poor soil, or it can be grown in a rockery. Best of all, it is not poisonous to humans or pets.

Amazingly, one of my personal friends was the person who succeeded in helping me to identify this plant. She did a google search and basically looked at every red stemmed plant until she found a photo match.

Thank you for all the wonderful support in helping to identify this plant. I appreciated all the kind responses, like you always do. It is always my pleasure to interact with you here on steemit.

hahaha I think I haven't said this since the 90's but. no waay! That is like the tall friend of the Begonia's variety, or at least a long neck one! I'm sure their share both similarities and differences, but I'm really glad you found the exact species, kudos to your friend! I know it isn't easy at all to have found it, and if it was, it's still really cool to have done so. And a great friend indeed she is. Cheers!

I'm very happy also about the server, thanks to you I now have the possibility to start a few bonsai of my own, hope I can make them justice, and learn a lot from you guys. I know for sure that I will enjoy quite a bit. Have a great week everybody!

oh that good friend @creativetruth! I will try to upload today the publication about the first branch of the bonsai tree, I have been working a lot these days, I am happy to see this publication and the discord channel and the #teambonsai theme!

Excellent. If you want to post more about #bonsai subjects, you could easily present some information about various bonsai traits, to help novices like myself to understand the beauty of different bonsai styles. You have a very good amount of knowledge and experience, and I think you teach it in a very well organized way.

This is very nice post i appreciate your flowers thanks for sharing best of luck my dear friends..

could be a fertile land can grow beautiful flowers, if there is a chance please help me.

Guess we know it's not a Curcuma zedoaria then. I would never have gotten that right. Thanks for the feedback.

it could be an additional flower for another flower garden decoration, hopefully you can succeed with a perfect post.

That's right. I like plants that make a flower, and then divide to make more flowers. Just like steemit. Post. Make money. Grow. Repeat!
