Small Scale Home Gardening for common vegetable on garden pots

in gardening •  4 years ago

Few days ago, I bought 3 packets of common vegetable seeds from online store. They are the Hong Kong Choy Sum;

Shanghai Pak Choy

and Taiwan Green Okra or Lady finger

I have been trying to germinate similar seeds from my garden stock but was not successful. After browse through an online store and read positive reviews about these seeds, I decided to buy 3 types from the same supplier for a try.

Surprisingly my order was delivery the next day with nice packaging. however, I kept the seeds lying around for a few days before I started to plant them.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical about the result as i did not succeed the last round. however, I was motivated to give it a trial after recall those positive feedback from buyers in the review section of the online store.

I prepared 3 pots of soil for these 3 types of seeds separately. I placed these seeds randomly on the soil, water them and placed the pots on the rack under a tree with shed.

After 2 days, I realized seeds started to sprout very well for both Shanghai Pak Choy and the Hong Kong Choy sum.

As for the Taiwan Green Okra or Lady finger, it is slower with 3 seeds started to sprout. Nevertheless, I was satisfied as it reflected true comments by previous buyers in the online store.

Although the seeds are merely started to sprout, I am happy about the results and could not wait to share them to those with similar interest this community.
