G'day Steemers,
Thought I would share some pictures of my Echinocactus grusonii - Golden Barrel Cacti.
This Golden Barrel was grown from seed from a random ebay purchase.
At nearly two years old now, the typical globe shape and white spines are starting to show.
While native to Mexico, the Golden Barrel is found all across the world as it is a popular choice for decorative gardens.
Hopefully in another 18 years I will be able to share some pictures of the gorgeous yellow flowers that they produce.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time,
Pop
Hell yeah!!
I will be keeping an eye on your blog awaiting these "gorgeous yellow flowers" in 18 years :-)
What a great addition to an arid landscape design they would be!!!
