@pennsif does a fabulous job of updating the community and members of new homesteaders, gardeners and anything outdoors of farm living for us. We can follow the people, comment and become friends; and it's all thanks to @pennsif for being organized and taking the time to keep the master list

We started out at slack, but recently moved to discord; as the features there seem to be better.

I try to join the chat on discord every day, but some days are more difficult than others. But whenever I do float into the conversation there is always someone to talk to, share with and get information from.
Remarkable People & Cherished Friendships
I have witnessed so many members exchanging plants, seeds and advice that some days it makes my head spin. Homesteaders are the most giving (of time, advice and equipment or supplies) that you will EVER meet.
People send full grown plants in the mail as an exchange.
Seeds that are rare are being mailed to others. (Which reminds me... who would like to start a seed exchange for next season? Leave a comment below)
@kiaraantonoviche sent a ceramic bee a relative of hers had given her to other members so we could have a series about the importance of pollination. Hey, where is Barry The Bee?
Valuable Advice
Members on steemit like @lyndsaybowes, @gardengirlcanada, @beatitudes8, @rakkasan84 ... OMGosh! I could go on and on and on... have some of the best content on steemit.
I should just list all 200+ members because each of them add a special part to our community.
Some know more about herbs, some have expanded knowledge about chickens or livestock while others are DIYers. Each and every homesteading community members' contribution is valuable, priceless and appreciated.
Their words and posts are NOT advice, but tried-and-true experiences.
Just this week alone I have had about ten members send me messages, post comments or acknowledge me in our chat group about my contributions. So instead of doing my normal Tuesday HOLLER OUT to individual people, I want to SHOUT OUT to all the homesteading members and thank them all for being a part of my life, sharing your expertise and wisdom and for making me laugh every day while on steemit!

Depends on the day of the week. Most of the time Friday through Monday.
Next Wednesday is opening day for gun season. So I am sure it will be a little loud around these parts. I may head up to the Buck Pole in town mid-morning and see what everyone's gotten for the day.
