Hello! This is my first Steemit post. More or less just testing it out to see how it works!
I am in the process of starting a new business venture. I want to start producing locally grown produce in my area and work with local restaurants to re educate people in my area about food.
If we are never taught to grow, prepare, preserve, and cook our food in a school system then we rely on our parents. If they were never taught, well then what do we do? Rely on the food pyramid?
I want to change how we view food and everything that encompasses it. Teach kids how to grow, prepare, preserve and cook their food. How to save seeds to keep the seeds we have available today so future generations can grow.
Here are some pictures of some microgreens I am working with now. I will make another post about Microgreens and there benefits.
