Interesting invasive species perspective article and posting test.

Been a long time since I posted - 3 years! This is a test for me to get back up to speed after a long hiatus. Just a quick cut and past to see how it formats.

Interesting read in the link below. What is a Native versus Invasive? Dartmouth Professors found Indigenous knowledge essential to the conversation. Different worldviews shape ethical responses to change. And plant and animal populations change over decades, centuries and millennia.

The image I attached is Tropical Milkweed in our North Texas suburban garden. It's not native but provides a source of nectar for pollinators including the Monarch Butterfly. Yet, there is still controversy over it having a negative impact on Monarch butterflies. So the conversation has real, local meaning for me.
