They say Sunday is a day of rest, Not so much on the farm! 

 I rolled out the door this morning and found a nice sight, this rain brought the Daylilies back to life. 

Nothing Like a splash of color when you walk out the door!

The Steemhouse Work Never Stops!

 Spent the morning doing odds and ends in the greenhouse, checking fertilizer, clipping a few plants, checking on seeds. Overall just making sure they place is running OK. Then I ran across this guy.

Still not sure how all these critters can get in this place. Oh well, I guess he can eat some bugs too. here are the other two visitors!

Tractor Work and Clearing A Downed Tree

After the steemhouse work, I fired up the old Kubota to go clear a tree that had fallen in the pasture, Fired up the chain saw and cut on it for a bit until darn thing started getting heavy lol. Once I was done, I noticed how quiet it was today and I took a little time to sit back and soak it all in, You gotta do that every now and again, keep your head right!

More Persimmons

 Also found another Wild Persimmon tree that I had never noticed before! Looks like it's going to be a good year for Persimmons!

And finally a long day put to rest, only to start over again tomorrow. It's a tough life on the farm, but it's rewarding!
