If you do not already know. I have been growing and adding some carnivorous plants to my garden.
I decided to snag a fully developed venus fly trap plant.. here are some photos of it..
as you can see it has already been consuming some flies:
This is our other venus fly trap plant. It wasn't properly care for before we got it. We are trying to keep it alive.
and last but not least, here is our first sign of life from the seeds
I look forward to seeing what happens with these all. If you dont know, the venus fly trap is native to North Carolina. We are in Texas so this should be an interesting ride. I will update you all on their progress! If you want to follow me on the journey follow @johnroomusic
