4 days without going into the garden hasn't done my flowers any harm.

Its been nearly 4 days since I was out in my garden, my passage has been filled with fittings for my shower room so I have had to wait until he has worked his way through the majority of it. My hubby managed to push the boxes together giving me enough space to open the back door. I was a bit anxious going out, I was expecting a right mess but luckily had 2 days of rain which has helped since I couldn't do it, I needed to do a little tidying up but was very surprised to find a few new flowers that looked lovely so thought maybe you would like to see.

BEGONIA

My first flower I was surprised to see was the Begonias, they hadn't been looking very good, I thought they were starting to die out but the 1st thing I saw was this beautiful flower standing tall looking very pretty.

RED BEGONIA

I found a new Red Begonia, the colour is still very strong and the flower is very pretty

PETUNIA

I am very surprised to see loads of bids still on this plant, there is always a new flower showing up, they are such pretty flowers.

GERANIUMS -- RED

A gorgeous group of red Geraniums, these are planted on our rat pet cemetery, they are starting to fill out with a lot of buds ready to bloom.

GERANIUMS -- PINK & WHITE

Another lovely bunch of Geraniums, loving there different colours, once all the buds have bloomed the cemetery will look lovely.

GERANIUMS -- RED & WHITE

And more Geraniums in another colour, such petite little flowers but really cute.

ROSE -- PINK

Can't go without showing a beautiful pink Rose in full bloom, nothing nicer or prettier.

Seems my flowers haven't missed me very much over the last 4 days cheek not as much as I have missed them anyway, seems they have enjoyed the peace and quiet from me and the furbabies. Very happy they are still doing OK.

Thank you :)

glad to hear that your garden is still growing well.
Spring is just starting to make its presence known here. Our peach tree is just starting to bud and I can see a bunch of flowers ready to burst forth.

And it is not so cold first thing in the morning, which is nice. Maybe soon all the orchids my dad brought down will wake up and realise they are supposed to have flowers ;-)

Maybe you should be taking photographs for us to see the changes :)

Hi ya @karen54 how's the new bathroom coming along? Nice photos, upvoted. Take care

I have just posted a video of today's works, it should take one more day, Can't wait :)

Awesome, can hardly wait to see

I know sometimes we think that if we are not there to take care of things the world will probably end....surprise surprise....nature is quite capable of looking after her own.
Oh wow, must stop there, just watching my battalion of bats launch, one by one for their evening patrol.

Oh WOW that must be amazing to see :)

It really is. They live in the eaves of my kitchen roof, and the others in the gable end of my cottage.
I was thrilled when I first bought this cottage to be told that bats live here too.
I like to stand under the eaves as they launch...each bat chatters as it shuffles towards the edge in a line. With one last sound it drops and flies off..then the next and so on until all have gone.
Altogether there are around 30. They fly around my cottage, and a short way up the lane. If I stand still, they sometimes fly quite close. They are Pipistrelles.
A couple of times one has somehow come into the cottage...I.think via the chimney. It is always the same one. He lets me carefully pick him up and take him back outside where I hang him up under the shed roof so he can sleep the day away until twilight again.

Amazing. You will have to video it for us all to see, I would love to experience that :)

I will try. The weather is absolutely atrocious at the moment, so I shall wait for a dry evening. They sure are drawing in quite quickly now.

I agree its getting darker earlier

The Flowers are too beautiful and bright and you have taken good care of them , not harmed by rain , My mother also do gardening and she always try to get new flowers in her garden. She is so proud of it. I will show these pictures to her.

Thank you, I do love my little garden :)

they look awesome - so healthy
Have a great day !

Thank you :)

They are all looking so beautiful vibrant and fresh, seems the disorder caused by the shower work is not causing them to much stress

Nothing seems to stop them :)

Well this is one case where nothing stops them is a good thing

That is very true :)

I am happy that you finally got out to the garden. The flowers are lovely. Enjoy your time out there today...

It was nice to get some fresh air :)

Tomorrw all the flowers will be hiding away from the unshowered woman coming to see them, they will be happy sat afternoon when you get out of that new plaything, aka shower. Lol

My flowers love me when I'm clean and stinky :p

So beautiful! life without fragrance and people like flower always seems incomplete. I wish you life as beautiful and as soothing as flowers.

Flowers have made me smile this year :)
