LOOK WHAT I FOUND IN MY GARDEN TODAY

I have had a good year gardening especially with it being my first attempt, I have had some lovely surprises and spent a lot of time enjoying my garden this year. Its a pleasant change to be able to come and go in and out of the garden instead of having to keep the door closed as it was a builders yard with hubby's bits and stuff we didn't want just thrown in there until we had time to sort it out.

I am still getting surprises from my garden, I think that's it they are all starting to die off something springs up to make me smile, today was no exception.

A GORGEOUS PETUNIA

POPPY

ANOTHER POPPY

GERANIUMS

A PRETTY LITTLE BEGONIA

AND LAST FIND FOR TODAY IS

HOLLYHOCKS

These are my photographs taken with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Mobile Phone
Its now coming to the end of the Summer season I have to start sorting my Begonias out for last year, its all new to me so will have to do some research on the internet, without the advice from a few friends on here I would have just thrown them out but now I will have to teach myself how to dry them out for next year. I want to keep these as they have been gorgeous this year, hoping next year will be as good.

I have the garden sorted for next year, its all planned in my head and journal what I want and where they are going to live.

I am collecting all my seeds now so don't have to do it next year, I can then get started earlier than I did this year.

ROLL ON SPRING 2018

What a lovely selection of flowers, I do enjoy the flower posts on Steemit - mainly because the majority of my garden is just grass!

I do like a flower, Thank you :)

Your garden keep rocking it! Awesome :) I really like your pictures and I hope next year will be even better. Have you saved seeds? can you keep some still planted but inside? how about some sort of greenhouse at least a DIY one? Thanks for sharing. @OriginalWorks

It looks like you are an excellent gardener. I wonder if you have ever considered writing a post teaching others about gardening. (I'm quite the pest aren't I?)

Its only been my first year of growing, think I need a but more teaching before I do that but thank you its nice as you have faith in me :)

Wow, your garden is fantastic! The shades of your petunia are simply beautiful!!! Thanks for share your awesome flowers ^_^

Thank you for visiting :)

congratulations for the great work done dear friend @ karenb54.
What good results have you achieved this year, congratulations on these beautiful flowers.
I wish you a good night

Thank you :)

Those are very beautiful flowers and great pics as some one else stated. I would like to get into gardening myself someday to hopefully be a little more independent.I saw a you tube channel "everyday simple health tips" that might be useful to you. They show nutritious plants that aren't commonly known as well as plants that repel insects like mosquitoes. I had no idea that citronella was a plant and marigolds repelled insects until i watched a few of their videos. Ty for sharing

Thank you for visiting and for the information :)

can you grow cybiniyubms [spell it how you like] orchids? my wife has just taken them up again after a few years break. have an ask around your local gardening shops to find out.
easy to grow, pretty in flower and long- lasting.

Never thought about growing orchids, they are pretty flowers :)

Some of them are pretty hardy, the poor slave may have to put them under cover away from the snow, but worth asking about. There some that grow indoors as well. Some of them are even perfumed.

I am going to have to research how to do the Begonias for next year, I was told how but my memory is bad, its in the comments on one of my posts :)

pass, I'm not into them, it must another of your admirers.
Uncle Google should have all the answers for you though.

I will def be calling in uncle Google :)

He is a good guy, and he a lmost as much as me. Lol

If not better hehe

Good post! I’m sure you will continue to shoot more .

Thank you :)
