Hello, fellow gardeners and welcome to my weekly update on my Chili plants. The main thing about them is that there are no flowers on them yet, it some bigger buds are appearing already. I feel, that they need a little more time, but don’t know exactly how much wil take them to start blooming.

Moruga Scorpion - yellow

The biggest pot Carolina reaper looks amazing and it has gained a lot of size recently. And the Pepperoncino, which grows in hydroponics is very nice little plant! I put it in a bigger jar, because it’s roots became very long and I provide them more space and I can put in more nutrients. This plant recently started to drink a lot of water and I started watering it more often.

Carolina Reaper and hydroponics Pepperoncino

The Pepperoncino plant from the last week, which became ill seems to be trying to grow some nice new leaves and it may overcome the “illness”. I am thinking now, that it could be caused from over fertilizing, because one of the leaves seemed burnt. For now I will keep it aside from the other plants, just to be sure , that nothing bad will happen to other plants.

And here is how big the hydroponics Carolina Reaper and Moruga Scorpion are already.

The yellow Scorpion. A lot of growth recently.

After all, there may not be leaves, but I’m happy with my little jungle. All the plants are getting big, and I’m a little bit concerned about the space, provided for the peppers. In some point I will maybe need some wider area, but for now it is just ok.

See ya next week, hopefully with first flowers.
Bye!

i like your plants, and if i can know what lights are you using?

I have 2x6w bulbs, that I ordered from China, and one bulb, that I bought from Bulgaria which is 8w I think. All the bulbs are LED and are designed for plant growing. All the lights I control with time controller, so there is no need to worry about them.

thanks for the information i am still very very lay with the indoor technique maybe i will try it one day

This reminds me of growing the reapers and scorpions last year. It felt like they took forever to do anything!!! =)
