Ur not usually a cacti fan thow? Ive been growing cacti for a few years now.....watch out they accumulate quickly for a plant that's supposed to grow slowly.

Trichocereus Bridgesii takes up a large part of my garden.

You grow many tropical plants up there in QLD??

Its not that I dont like cacti its just they werent at the top of my list, I always have a few kicking around at home :-)
You should post some pics of your cacti, I would love to see them!
I dont personally have a hugely tropical garden but a lot of the gardens I work in have lots of Palms and other tropical amazingness.
