RABBIT MANURE SOLAR OVEN TEST - UPDATE FROM PAPA-PEPPER

in gardening •  7 years ago

I am considering raising some rabbits as a potential food source if need be. I do like the idea of using the manure in addition to the compost I make now. Makes sense that you need to kill the weed seeds in order to keep it manageable but like any compost you will need to keep the temp under control as not to kill off any beneficial bacteria in the process. I also have a worm farm in which I collect the castings for my plants. I think rabbit manure would also be a great addition. Good post. Makes me want to get started sooner with rabbits. Thanks!

Rabbit manure is probably the best manure for gardens in my opinion. Also, if they are not fed fresh greens that have mature seeds, this will not be an issue.

Worms are great too!
