Living in a states, with liberal cannabis laws,...lots of folks are trying their hand at growing Cannabis. Me too.
Lots of information on the web telling you how to grow the stuff. But, somehow, I missed one crucially important thing: that Cannabis hates MiracleGro.
Why? Because, MiracleGro is formulated to "time-release" release nitrogen. This is good for lots of plants, but not Cannabis. You see, Cannabis' need for nitrogen decreases as it gets older. Too much nitrogen, as Cannabis ages into its "budding" stage, causes nitrogen toxicity, ...which causes stunted growth, decreased terpene creation, and greatly diminished "bud" formation.
So, if you are considering the enjoyable hobby of growing "weed", don't use MiracleGro. Use Foxfarm Oceanforest soil, instead.
Hopefully, this little post will save someone out there a few headaches.
