Gardening Weather Weekend Forecast Looking Good

Gardening Weather Weekend Forecast Looking Good
When you talk to those who work outdoors and specifically landscapers, they will all tell you how horrible the weather has been for their business. They never really got to do their fall cleanups and they are way way behind with the spring cleanups thanks to the weather. Well this weekend offers an opportunity for yard clean ups and all sorts of gardening activities as we are finally going to string together 4 nice days. Granted they won't be warm but they will be tolerable and the strong sun will make things feel better. Today's weather system is continuing to produce another grey dismal afternoon of low clouds rain and temperatures in the 40s.
US SATELLITE
Rain hasn't been especially problematic but we do have one last band of showers to get through this afternoon before weather conditions improve. The satellite picture above shows dry air to the west and northwest that will move in tonight once this coastal low moves away to the northeast.
Friday we will see partly sunny skies but it will be chilly with highs just reaching the lower 50s. Saturday we will see a fair amount of sunshine with just some patchy clouds with highs in the low to mid 50s.
SATURDAY FORECAST HIGH TEMPERATURES
Sunday it turns a little warmer with highs in the upper 50s to near 60s and we should see partly to mostly sunny skies.
SUNDAY FORECAST HIGHS
We will extend the nice weather through Monday with lots of sunshine and highs reaching the lower 60s before any sea breeze develops. Then clouds will arrive on Tuesday and low pressure moving across the south this weekend will turn northward up the east coast. Rain is likely to arrive here late Tuesday or Tuesday night.

It should be noted that while all the weather modes show this idea they disagree on the timing and the others are about a day slower. This is also going to be a slow moving system so once it gets here it may be with us for a few days.
