Mixed Feelings

August is coming to an end. I always have mixed feelings about this time of the year. Sure, it's fun to go shopping in my garden when we want to throw a BBQ, but with every veggie I pick, I realize the end of the gardening season is near. To be honest, I would choose growing over harvesting any day of the year.

Lol, I guess that makes me a grower, more than a gardener.

Anyway, for a lot of you, the gardening season is about to start. Woo! The excitement of spring coming closer... :0) Others are probably in the same position I am:harvesting, maybe sowing some veggies for fall... I want to hear all about it...

So, once again, I welcome you to the SteemIt Community Garden Journal Challenge, which encourages you to share your monthly (indoor) garden/balcony/homestead updates with your fellow Steemians and create your own garden journal.

@simplymike, Good to see that you are boosting the Gardening Ecosystem here and it's really appreciable aspect. My gardening season is paused but hope that i will plan something for near future. Stay blessed.

To take pictures then of my garden attempt disaster hahaha.

I need to remember to write an entry for this garden challenge. I haven't taken pictures of my garden in a couple of weeks, so now is a pretty good time to do it.

Just replying as a reminder :0)

I've been taking some photos of my garden wondering when the August GardenJournal2019 challenge post would come out. I've been gone for quite a number of days in August but amazingly the garden did okay. I'll get my post together for before the Hardfork on Tues.

Can't wait :0)

Yes!!! I was gonna do one today!!

Yey!!!

Honestly I have been having so much fun preparing my garden for spring full stop there is so much to do still. I wish I could talk the husband into helping me a little bit more but he is busy with his Land Rover and his boat. He is starting to feel guilty though and he's going to finish up those projects so he can spend more time with me making the garden what it should be, which is a place of abundance and a lot of produce

:0)
Always good when they start to feel guilty, lol

You should talk to my daughter @andiekins. She and her husband have built three greenhouses so they can continue to garden all year long. I know she often says the end og gardeni g season is sad as well.
