Hello Everyone!!

I hope you all are good and doing well. I'm here to be a part of this amazing course "SEC-S20W5 | 3rd Time: Desserts." My family is found of sweets so I started my cooking from dessert making. I first dessert that I made was custard at age of 9 or 10 with my brother when my mom was not at home. My husband doesn't like sweet so now I made desserts on occasions or at events.

Lets move to the course task.

Are you good at making desserts? Have you made desserts before? Tell us.

Yes, I'm very good at making dessert. My most famous dessert that I made is creamy custerd with fruits. I made many different types of desserts . On festivals I made our traditional dessert like Sheerkhurma or kheer . My kids love ,custard, mouses,brownies, doughnuts ice-cream.

I made dessert from age of 10 first time and till now its best part of cooking for me that i enjoy very much. My youngest daughter has interests on dessert making of bakry style.

Overall I'm good at cooking and dessert are out of competition. Always my dessert wines with other food on the table. If i made five course menu for a dinner dessert will always best in them.

We would like you to prepare a dessert (serve the exact amount for 1 person on a dessert plate). It is important to explain the preparation process and the result of this dessert.

Today I'm preparing doughnut 🍩 for dessert as it liked by my family. I usually made those recipes that are like by kids so all food utilised happily.

Doughnut is very delicious and easy recipes and you can make them in very short time. Let's move towards the recipe

Ingredient

  • Flour
  • yeast
  • egg
  • milk
  • butter
  • Suger
  • cooking chocolate
  • sprinkles
  • vanilla essence

Making

  • First rise yeast by mixing it in warm milk ,sugar and 2tab flour mixture. Then cover it with plastic and rest it at warm place for 15-20min.

  • Now make dough from this mixture, remaining flour,egg, oil ,pinch of salt. Needed until smooth and gentle dough.

  • Rest the dough for 1-2hrs by covering it with plastic sheet. Need it again and roll it , spread it to a thickness of 1/2 inch and cut it by using doughnut cutter or any thing that you have. I used glass to cut the outer circle and for inner circle I used bottle cap.

  • Fry these doughnuts in oil until both sides changed to golden brown. Im showing how it will be after frying. You can enjoy doughnuts at this stage too just dust powder sugar over it.

  • I make chocolate glaze to make it mire tasty. For this purpose just take cooking chocolate (cut into pieces) and butter1 tab of milk and microwave it for 30seconds. Mixed it well if ingredients are not mixed, place this mixture again in microwave for mre 30 seconds

  • When doughnuts and glaze both become cool then dip doughnuts in it and spread sprinkle to make it more attractive

I served dought with some cream

Which starter and which main dish would go with the dessert you just prepared? Imagine a 3-course menu that goes with your delicious dessert.

For starter I would like to add Fresh vegetables salad with lemon ,oil dressing. I mostly served fresh salad specially when we make biryani.

For main dish I would like to add chicken biriani that is our traditional recipe and famous all over the country.

For dessert I would like to add doughnuts.
